How to add audio?

Hi

I want to add some audio to a blog but am not sure how. It's an mp3 piece and I can obviously add it as a link which opens fine but I would rather embed it, ideally with a player of some sort.

I've tried just embedding using Google and other players but this doesn't seem to work, it just shows bits of the flash code on the web page. I have had no problems embedding youtube clips etc.

Do I need to do something to the backend.

Take a look at the easy podcasting plugin. I have never used it, but I think it may do what you want.

I've added the plugin, downloaded the relevant files and installed them in the correct folders but still nothing showing, it just appears as a link to the mp3 file.

Sadly, I have never used the plugin, but I know others have. Have you tried searching this site for any hints?

How exactly are your configuration options of the podcast plugin?

And what's the URL to a blog entry of yours where the audio file is not caught?
