Is it possible to run and install the blog without AllOverride All? (I do not have any permission to change this).

Yes, but then you cannot use URL Rewriting. And you may need to remove your .htaccess file. But s9y still works.

Well, there is no .htaccess file in my directory... whats wrong with this script or my space? I'm getting a server error #500 when i try to start the blog after the installation even thoght it has said everything is okay...
