How can i get the option that u are talking about ...

I installed a plugin from the additional plugins as suggested by you.
But when i'l logging off from it, its not logging me off.

It's just refreshing the entries page but not actually logging me off.

Well, the most easy way would be to use the entry properties plugin and mark every plugin as "can ...

Another way would be to setup .htaccess / .htpasswd protection so that nobody can enter the blog without the credentials. But this means to maintain a seperate .htpasswd file.

How can we set up that? Please explain me this method too..........

I came out with the bug.
Actually... there was some incinsistency with the serendipity_plugins table.
But what was it, even i was not able to track.
Actually, i had 2 instances of serendipity on my system. One is the development instance and other is the production instance.
