Well, almost .. I can not seem to install new plugins .. I might have fiddled around in configuration files when I tried to move towards the new S9y version .. check:

I do not see the upgrade option in the admin module .. what I DO see, is above the admin panel the following :

it was the slash .. ..


I don't dare upgrading .. I've just got everything to work .. sorry ..

Still, I love the system (great new corporate identity by the way!) .. This time I have a small prob after migrating to a different server ..

I moved my blog again .. :)

Now I found out what really went wrong .. The paths in the configuration file were ok, the cmod settings were good, yet still the blog did not work ..

Reason was probably because I copied the old-server's db .. In there there are stored settings .. I had to go into ...

It's working ..

I got things to work locally, and later online .. Final bugger was the not-writable setting of the templates_c dir .. Smarty looked for the template in a wrong dir

Seems it was a mix up of copied versions to another dir and just config settings getting seriously mixed up ...

After fixing a path that I overlooked in the admin panel (I could acces that already) I see that the admin panel reloaded with CSS .. Before that, everyting was in times new roman and black on white ..

now the blog sais

What happened so far is a long story, I'll recap:
- I had 0.8-beta4 running online
- I wanted to update for several reasons, but it didn't work, blank browser
- tried to go back and copied 0.8 ...

yeah I tried .. I guess my best option is to install it on a server locally, over which I have full control ..

currently the blog runs at http://www2.hku.nl/~matthij1/blog .. well, it does not exactly run, which is the problem ..

it used to work well, then I had the brilliant idea to upgrade .. so I backed-up all files and the db ..

after the upgrade, there was nothing but whiteness on the blog and the ...

that has always been off ..

Do you think I can save the install, or should I install a new one on the other server ..
