Re: think I found it...not sure how to fix it however!

hey gavin,

or better yet, if postgre supports it, an auto increment column...that way you will increment it in one atomic unit of work, while here there is a chance of concurrency issues.
adam[/code] postgresql has sequences which are auto incremented columns, the currval function is a function ...

multiple categories in 0.8 beta 2

When I create a new entry it is only possible to assign one category. When editting the entry en submit the changes, afterwards it is possible to add multiple categories, before submitting changes only one category is possible.

Renaming tables

<b>Warning</b>: pg_query(): Query failed: ERROR: Relation "s_entries_id_seq" does not exist in <b>/home/rickmans/public_html ...

table references?

Since the upgrade to 8.11 (and 8.12) I have got a rather weird error. It stated that the table references does not exist (which is correct). How could this happen en how could this be fixed? For more details on the error see http://internetschoon.nl/ and scroll down.

upgrade 7.1 -> 8.11 alpha chmod

I just took the risk of upgrading to 8.11 alpha on this quiet sunday morning. And I noticed the upgrade itself created some errors. For example some files could not be moved (I suppose to backup) and when I refreshed my ndex page I saw some php code :). I then reminded myself for chmodding the ...

Some primaries indeed exist, some other doesn't (or to say it in a better way: the ones I would define doesn't). I will take a look at the file and come back to it :).

Do you really think people will make 9223372036854775807 entries :P. Or that there will be 9223372036854775807 authors :P ;).

Postgresql database scheme

When browsing through the current database setup of serendipity using postgresql I see there are some things missing. For example constraint (primary keys, foreign keys). And I see some mis use of datatype, for example with the sequences which go to the maximum of a bigint. Is it a suggestion to ...

It seems like its the join on the category table. For every category assigned to the entry an comment will be displayed. So if you have X categories assigned, you will get X time printed your comments of this entry.

I tweaked the query in the way it works okay with mine site. The query I used is ...
