It worked! As you thought, it does remove all extended properties, but it's actually a positive; I don't want the standard editors doing anything other than posting... And there was me thinking you just did templates Don!

Sorry if this is a fairly simple issue or covered elsewhere (I couldn't find any info relating to this...)

I want to alter install so that only a chief editor or admin can post a sticky post, no one else - is this easily achievable and can anyone suggest how?
