Guess i wasn't logged in on the reply...
Removing the user_level parts from the import script did it. I was the only user on the wordpress blog so maybe it didn't call for user_level, then again maybe it's changed in wordpress 2.0

importing from wordpress 2.0
I'm trying to import entries from the new wordpress 2.0 but i get the error:
Starting import procedure...
Import failed: Could not select user information: .
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, i don't use the pinging option in serendipity because it takes so long to do (nothing against Serendipity...all platforms are the same on that).

updating from 0.7 to 0.8
The update file included with the beta Serendipity doesn't have anything about going from 0.7-0.8 so i just want to make sure on this.
Can i drop the new files over the old and it will update everything?
