It's not so much that I had ideas that I wanted to get coded into the plugin, it was that I had made changes to the plugin and wanted to submit them back to the developer for inclusion in the 'official' version. Being something of an old hat at PHP development, it wasn't too hard to decypher the RPC ...

Just curious who maintains or updates the LJ Update plugin and/or how do I get in touch with the person listed in the download section. I have some suggestions/changes that enhance the functionality of the plugin for the Livejournal server and would like to submit them for consideration.
