 Nope, I take that back... that fixes the karma plugin but breaks the second sidebar. Back to square one...
Ok, so now I really have it figured out - I manually requested /index.php?/serendipity.css, then copy-n-pasted all the CSS related to the karma plugin into freshy/style_1024.css. Viola!

Re: Different permissions for posting vs. viewing?
You can check the user group management in your s9y admin interface; there you can disable certain event plugins or event hooks for certain member groups.

So you shouldn't forbid the whole plugin, only the certain event hooks.
Thanks.
It looks like there are some events I can disable ...

Different permissions for posting vs. viewing?

Need two sidebars on Freshy theme - will pay
I like the Freshy theme very much, but I need two sidebars. I'm sure that it's a fairly simply change for someone who knows what they're doing, but unfortunately I have no clue.
Would somebody out there be willing to make the necessary changes to the theme for a small fee?

Re: Double header with Category Tree Menu plugin
Hi!
Can you tell me your URL so that I can look at it?

Re: Double header with Category Tree Menu plugin
Hi!
I thought this was fixed in recent versions of that plugin -- which version are you using?
Regards,
Garvin
Looks like I'm using 1.10. I thought that was the latest, as I've checked for updated plugins (using the links on the Configure Plugin page) numerous times lately.

Double header with Category Tree Menu plugin
When using the Category Tree menu plugin, I get the plug-in title listed twice before the tree list. The problem appears to stem from this line:
$output = '<h2 class="serendipitySideBarTitle" style="font-weight: bold;">'.$title.'</h2><br />';
Nothing like that appears in any of the other plugins ...
