I do already see the new page with some of the imagebuttons missing... I guess it is because of a slow connection with the server. Or perhaps there is some javascript involved?

I may be on the wrong track here but I seem to recall from a previous posting that this may be .png behaviour issue that can occur if the browser compatiblity plugin is used.

Yeah that is exacly what I mean! look at that quote button...

From time to time I don't get a preview at all. When I hit the preview button a second or third time the preview will render correctly. This is not a very predictable behaviour and I don't understand why it is happening. When I'm lucky it will work the first time I hit preview...

Does someone know why some of the admin pages like "edit entries" or "configure plugins" seem to freeze up until they are fully loaded?
I can't scroll the page or click any links until the page is fully loaded. This can take up more than 10 seconds sometimes...

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced the following:
Sometimes, not always, some of the images like emoticons or the serendipity logo on the sidebar or the edit icons on the admin pages appear much larger than they should be.
I'd like to add a screenshot but now I can't get it reproduced ...
