Yes, blank pages usually mean fatal PHP errors. PHP can be configured to NOT display errors in web pages, that is usually the error why you see nothing at all. In that case, errors will be logged to the php error log and/or the apache errorlog.

When a white page is all that shows and html will display it is usually a pHp error, right? Permisssions (CHMOD) verified per docs and this forum.

The Host states pHp is fine, and the error is in the index.php that Serendiptity is creating... or is the database ...

Got it all back Garvin. Thanks for the assist. (I enjoyed installing and using phpMyAdmin, but in the end had to re-install and back up from the rss.xml file)

The file is still there in the database, and I noted that it had been written to on 11/4 when I tried to post a "test" entry. It was somehow corrupted on 11/3.

I'll contact the host and see if they have a backup for 11/2 (which I doubt).

I'm unable to view my blog after a posting tonight. (Actually, I attempted to delete a post unsuccessfully) I recieve the following error when I try to log on:

Heya,

I opened w.bloggars' .post file with an editor, EditPlus. What it is actually sending is:

Title: textTitle
Body: textBody
Extended: textMore

And how it even passes a category I don't know... string is empty:

Category:

<member>
<name>categories</name>
<value>
<string></string ...

That'S right. It seems as if w.bloggar is the culprit because it does not send mt_more_text! If it's not in the XML, s9y didn't receive it!

I saw an event plugin that allows html within the page and not in just the left or right sidebars. It's configurable and I use it to insert .swf files and such.

Interested in proper tags for:

Categories: ??? just worked on its' own
