Re: S9Y and Google Wave

Hi,

let me bump this topic up again since Wave is now available. Wordpress already has support for Wave, so it'd be great to get Support for s9y, too.

I don't have any invites to give out, yet, but invites aren't that hard to come by, these days. If any dev reads this and would be willing to write ...

I know.. I was just thinking there has to be some secure way since a lot of major websites allow it in their comments.

How about instead using the RegExp markup plugin, that comes with a "clickable URL" rule that you can use so that hyperlinks are automatically converteD? you can specifically enable this for comments.

Mhh.. that would just make the links clickable but readers would still have ugly links in the ...

Hi,

I know this subject has been dead for a while and I know how you (garvin) think about using html in comments. I just wanted to add some thoughts.

With markups of bbcode and like it is so complicated for the average commenter to e.g. insert a link, that they refrain from doing it (in my ...

iTunes Podcasting Plugin

Hi,

I'm writing this post because I don't want to start something, someone else is already working on.

So basically I want a plugin for podcasting, that doesn't only add a media enclosure (like the existing one) but also makes the feed 100% iTunes compatible according to the iTunes Podcasting ...

Yeah sorry.. I figured that out when I was customizing the template that such issues are what templates in fact ARE for ;) So forget what I wrote above.

While I'm at it. Is there any documentation on what variables are allowed in templates for s9y?

Cool thx! I wasn't sure where to look.. I tried the index.php.

Anyway, wouldn't it be a good idea to do something like this as a plugin, so that we don't have to do this modification every time we update the blog?

After all an integrated option like "display entry body when reading full article ...

No Entry Body in Extended Body

Hi,

any quick way to get the above mentioned behavior? The thing is: We use the Entry Body as a teaser for the article. When people click on "read more" it is kinda stupid that the teaser gets repeated because they already read it and clicked on "read more" to get the full story.

I haven't written ...

hi,

my problem was, that when I made an update the MIME types of the files in my media library got lost. With no (or incorrect) MIME types serendipity assumes you are adding general media (like mp3 files) and not images in particular. This is why the second window didn't get displayed in my case. I ...

hi,

did you resolve this issue, yet? I upgraded the php installation on my server since I needed GD2 for some other software. I don't get the captchas anymore, either and I agree it must have to do with either gd or freetype. I'll try reinstalling the latter and recompile my php. Hopefully this ...

"Media" Button doesn't work as it used to

Hi,

whenever I click the "Media" button while making a new entry I get the popup where I can select the image. When I select it nothing happens.

With the (old) "Image" button I used to get a second popup where I could choose how the image should be inserted. Now only a link to the image is ...

Image problems after update

Hi,

after I updated to a new CVS I experienced problems with the image funtions when writing entries.

When I click the Image button the pop-up looks a little odd (tested it in Opera and IE).
look here: http://www.yumdap.net/files/s9y_img_prob.png

When I click on an image I don't get the second ...
