Regarding the 'continue reading' topic.

Thanks guys,

I will get to work on this just as soon as I can.

I'm on the verge of closing on the house I'm in right now.

The buyers pulled a fast one and shaved off (10) much needed days from my moving schedule, and I'm having to move at cartoon speed now.

Will get back to you as soon as I ...

Extended Entry Issue

Being a newbie to all of this, I'm liable to mess up my website but good if I go tinkering with certain aspects of the template without strict supervision.

I'd like to know what the minimum code requirement would be for use in my template in order to alter the look of "Continue Reading..."

Can I ...

I don't seem to have an entries.tpl file

After looking at some of the other templates in file manager, I found that I don't seem to have one of those entries.tpl files like the others.

Can this be?

The forwarding issue is now fixed! Yea!!

After completely deleting the staticpage plugin from my directory, plus any page that I could find that was created by it, the problem persisted.

Suspecting that the 'forward' had been knocked out along the way, I called aplus.net and learned that I was right ... for a change.

The tech ...

Static page messing with my site.

Judebert,

I will be happy to address the 'Spartacus' issue with you, however at the moment, I have a more immediate problem.

I went ahead and uploaded the 'event_staticpage' files to my plugin directory, then I loaded the plugin to my event lineup.

I went to 'static pages' in the side column and ...

My machine doesn't utilized Spartacus

use the "Static page" Event and Sidebar Plugins
That's what I was afraid of. I don't know if you recall, but I recently had an issue with the 'user addon' feature because I'm unable to utilize Spartacus on my machine. I've also tried on my other computer, and I had the same problem.
I've already ...

Making other pages with same css.

Ok, I'm on a roll with the self-embarrassment theme, so I might as well go with it.

Elemental ignorance:

I want to create other pages outside of my 'index', and I want them to have the same CSS attributes.

How do I accomplish this.

In the past, I simply created another blog account at 'Blogger ...

Located problem with No Comment issue.

I disable the 'Emergency comment shutdown' in the 'Spam Protector' plugin, and that did the trick.

I originally enabled it thinking that it would only function once a spam attack occurred, I didn't realize that it was a manual operation.

Sorry. Another amateur faux pas.

'Comments' is not taking comments.

I've tried three times to leave a comment on a couple of different posts, but they don't register.

This is what I get instead.

This blog is in "Emergency Comment Blockage Mode", please come back another time

Perhaps a problem with comments?

Yes, it appears that the persistent 'shoutbox' fellers have left my site. :D
I can't give you a definitive explanation as to how that occurred though.

However, I now seem to have another glitch ..:x.. dang blasted.
Twice I attempted to leave a comment on a recent entry, and twice it failed to ...

I can't get rid of a 'Shoutbox' message.

Everytime I refresh my browser, the same message (that I've already deleted) keeps coming back and adding to itself.
If I refresh (3) times, there will be (3) of the same message.:?

I tried uninstalling the 'Shoutbox' plugin and then reinstalling it, but that did not deter the ...

Tabs and RSS Feeds

1. How do I create tabs across the top of the body or perhaps the head above the banners? I'm thinking that it might be a good idea to include them for easy access to a site map, catagories, actions, etc.

2. Please explain to me just what the RSS feeds, that are included in cblog, will do for my ...

Converting to 'Index'

Regarding the conversion from 'cblog' to 'index'.

I decided, for the purpose of saving time and brain cells to give my domain host (aplus.net) a call and ask them what to do. They weren't terribly interested in explaining the process, but instead gave me a few options that they would impliment for ...
