Ich persönlich würde dies komplett, wenn das von Serendipity aus nicht mit rein kommt, über ein eigenes Template lösen. Die bestehenden Templates sind in der aktuellen Form, wie ich sie gesehen habe, sowieso meist nur auf Blogs zugeschnitten.

I just updated the plugin again, fixed in a dirty mode a bug and translated the german Dokumentation. I also added the missing german strings to the lang_de.inc.php

A lite zip sounds nice. And no, in my case its not to spare webspace, its just a "head thing" and a overhead of overview by open up the themes in the backend.
