The access file contains:

and some spamdeny IPs which i assume are the default ones with ...

URL rewriting is disable ... i have not changed this setting.

Dont know if this helps but when i run installation verification i get this error :

templates/bulletproof/entries.tpl corrupt or modified: failed verification
