after removing that plugin it has worked perfectly ever since and is still working ...

You could inspect the "serendipity_plugins" table, this holds the exact plugin name(s).

They didn't know what it was either. They just asked me if we were using any special plugins or if we added/changed anything with plugins in the past two months (when they stopped crawing). At first I thought no then remembered and immeidately deleted it.

Trouble getting Technorati to craw and update your blog?
Technorati wouldn't update our blog. We contacted technorati and they asked about our plugins and if we changed or added any lately.
Long story short we tried turning off the "extended authors" plugin and now Technorati can craw our site. Apparently some plugins prevent their servers from crawling ...

Re: Change Authors Order
hi we're still having this trouble even though we upgraded to 0.9.1.
[quote="garvinhicking"]First off, you should upgrade to a recent version, 1.0-beta1 or at least 0.9.1. Then it should work, I guess.

change author of a post already posted.
Is there a way to change the author of a posting? I'm the admin and need to "assign" the article to someone other than me.
I already posted the article and would like to just change the author name to not be the admin.
Normally I log in as the author and post under their account but would prefer ...

Re: Spam Protection w/ captchas and still under attack
In the spam protector screen I see an option to "reject" or "moderate" or "no" to API but nothing for "moderate" all comments in the sapm protector. Also, we do want to moderate incoming comments we just want to block all this junk spam.
The trouble is if we have to look in the comment modderation ...

Re: Spam Protection w/ captchas and still under attack
Thanks so much for the helpful reply. Maybe they are trackbacks.
Would you suggest "moderate" or "reject" for the auto-moderation for API-generated comments.
The e-mails start off like this:
A new comment has been posted on your blog "blog name", to the entry entitled "entry name".
