I changed the style.css from an existing template to adjust it to my needs.

Now I want to change the date format of the entries, getting rid of the weekday. In what file do I have to do this?

Then, where do I find the smarty templates? I am not familiar with smarty, but I have read a little ...

After updating to vers. 0.9 I had something similiar as before, that's why I add it to this post (hope it is ok)

You can make per-category read/write visibility assignments using Serendipity >= 0.9-beta2. :-)

I would do this, if I already was a bit more familiar with this software. If something doesn't work, I don't know how to fix it.

1) in user profile/advanced options there is a setting "Show e-mail address". If I say no, it still shows in my newsfeed reader like:

by author@domain.com (Author Name) on date - time

Can I suppress the email, somehow?

Is this possible for a category, too? (For "internal" purposes)

I need to put in at least one help file for the non-internet savvy authors - actually all of them

I just installed the glossary plug in and like it, performance seems good with simple cache.

Only with longer definitions the tooltip disappears too fast, before one could read it to the end.

Is it possible to change this?

Thanks Garvin. Actually I do not need two paths. The subdomain would be enough.
But how can I make the necessary changes?
I could move the serendipity folder to the root, but then I still have path-problems.

Should I do a whole new installation?

Now I want the blog under the URL:
http://blog.matriarchy.info/

If I call

I have exactly the same problem as Lux.

The problem is, that I cannot change the "URL zum Blog", if I type in the Subdomain, it say's "Konfiguration geschrieben und gesichert", but the old URL to the domains subdirectory is still there.

And there is also a slash "/" at the end I cannot get ...
