How do I disable mod rewrite so that the gallery2 plugin will work properly? According to other postings I need to disable mod rewrite, but can't figure out how to do it.

Sorry it took so long for me to get back... things have been very busy...

Sparticus is only listed 1 time. In fact, the listings look fine until I open it to check for new plugins or updates.

I don't use frontpage. If I use anything at all it's notepad.

I should also point out that serendipity_pluginlist is empty even after I load sparticus. Is this the right point in the database? And it appears to make duplicates of plugins that I have loaded. Ones that that I don't have loaded are not duplicated.

I executed 'truncate serendipity_pluginlist' and emptied the table. However it didn't solve the problem. Anything else I should try?

Can you tell me where to find the table? If I understand you, you want me to remove the entries in the table. Is it in the database? thanks!

Sparticus is showing 5-10 copies of each plug in when it retrieves the list. I don't see anything wrong with the installation. I was running 1.2 alpha and updated to 1.3 alpha but the problem is still there.

actually Garvin, I am not sure that it is really related at all other than the symptoms. An older version has also failed even though I haven't upgraded it. I get the same error when I try to install a fresh copy in a new directory, too..

An older nightly version (Serendipity 1.0-alpha2) doesn't have this problem. The problem only shows up with Serendipity 1.1-alpha1. So this is internal and not the plugin... in my opinion. I am going to put up the latest nightly version and see what happens....
