That worked. Maybe I need to look into upgrading mysql.

After I install the freetag event plugin I get the following error message at the top of my list of plugins:

Okay, I cleared the cache and the error went away. I click on the 'Done' button and the window closes.

But now there is another problem. When I select the radio button to use the thumbnail in my entry, it inserts a path like this into the photoblog field for the entry ...

Okay, I tried that. But I still get the same error.

Got another suggestion?
