OK, Garvin finally managed to find and solve the problem. Either something went wrong when I unpacked or uploaded the serendipity_editor.js file. It was cut in the middle and did not work properly because of that.

I also thought it is the right way but obviously it make some mistakes. Because after changing the style.css in the Kubrick-folder and transferring it onto the web space no changes take effect. The included file is "serendipity.css.php". I executed the script but the changed CSS are not active.

Customize Kubrick Theme
I tried to alter the CSS of the Kubrick theme but there was no effect. I changed the style.css in the /template/kubrick folder. What do I have to to to activate the changes?
